The training course has been developped by an international team, with the aim of giving theoretical imput on the topic of intercultural dialogue and movie-making process. At the same time most of the learning process was based on non-formal methods and learning by doing approach. Here we publish some of the materials used during the training.

The training Course is about to start! From the 3rd until the 11th of January a group of youth workers from 11 countries will work on intercultural dialogue through video-making. The final results of the Training Course will be shown to the public on Saturday 10th of January, at 6.00 pm at Artizen Pub - Altamura.
Shots of Dialogue is a training course for young youth workers from different european countries with different background, who want to use audiovisual technologies with groups of youth, in order to promote intercultural dialogue.
The training also aims to break stereotypes and to facilitate understanding and respect of other cultures.
The training is based on the principles of non-formal learning and represents the first step of a long term process. The participants will act as multipliers once they go back in their own local context, promoting new activities with young people based on audiovisual and promoting the Short Film Festival.
The Training Course "Shots of Dialogue" is the first step of the project. Fourteen youth workers from 11 European countries will work together on video-shooting as a tool for promotion of Intercultural Dialogue. The Training is hosted by Associazione Culturale Link in Altamura between the 3rd and the 12th of January 2009.
